In order to catch up with the global development trends of fertilizers in the world and China, Ko Yo Group and the Institute of Soil and Fertiliser jointly established a research and development center in May 2001 for the purpose of market survey and strategy valuation, product formula development, production process and quality upgrades. In this center, all members of the R&D team obtained bachelors, masters or doctorate degrees in related fields. Moreover, some advanced technology and lab equipment, including organic iron and coating technology are to ensure that the Group will remain an advanced technology leader in a competitive global agricultural market.

Following China's accession to the WTO, the furious competition in the field of chemical fertilizer and chemical industry will be leaded to an increase. For the purpose of introducing our new product to more people, Ko Yo Group cooperated with Institute of Soil and Fertiliser of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Science to jointly organize a "Seminar on Fertiliser and Ecological Agriculture" in Hong Kong, in June 2002. At the Seminar, speakers explained the latest developments in the field and unveilled the market potential of BB fertilizers in the PRC. Moreover, a great of professionals from investment, industrial and academic field were attracted together to discuss with the speakers in the Seminar.
